Recently, the "Hi, Shandong—Culture Jinan" overseas media interview event was held in Jinan. Nine overseas media journalists from countries such as Cambodia, South Korea, Russia, Turkey, Vietnam, and others visited attractions, including Impression Jinan Spring World, Baotu Spring Park, and the Mingshui Ancient Town, experiencing renowned springs, traditional handicrafts, and local performances, thereby touching upon Jinan's millennia-old historical heritage.

At Impression Jinan Spring World, overseas media journalists visited the wax museum to admire lifelike wax figures of famous personalities, experiencing the charm and charisma of world-renowned figures. They paused to admire the grand and delicately embroidered "Thousand Miles Jiangshan" flag made by Daiji Lu Embroidery, eliciting continuous praise. At the ceramic workshop of He Wei Gui, journalists eagerly picked up pieces of clay, guided by intangible cultural heritage inheritors to mold and shape quaint and intriguing ceramic works, thus appreciating the essence of Jinan's intangible cultural heritage craftsmanship.

"The lotus leaf cup made with ceramic sculpture techniques embodies the traditional Chinese philosophy of 'small abundance and great abundance,' leaving a deep impression on me and allowing me to deeply feel that Jinan is a city filled with cultural heritage," said Hu Ruiyan, a journalist from Cambodia's Khmer Daily, during the visit.

In Baotu Spring Park, foreign media journalists approached the acclaimed "First Spring under Heaven," Baotu Spring, feeling Jinan’s profound and dynamic spring culture in its gushing and crystal-clear spring water. They were overwhelmed by numerous historical sites, scenic spots, and inscriptions, such as the Viewing Wave Pavilion and the Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall, immersing themselves in a journey of experiencing Jinan's spring culture firsthand.

Situated in the Zhangqiu District of Jinan, the Mingshui Ancient Town is centered around the Hundred Springs. Inside the scenic area, the Ink Spring resembles a spinning wheel, the Plum Blossom Spring resembles a plum blossom, and the Hundred Springs gushing like pearls each exhibit their own unique charm. Foreign media journalists admired the picturesque spring scenery within the ancient city, sought the poetic charm of Song Dynasty poems at the Li Qingzhao Residence, watched traditional opera performances of Zhangqiu Bangzi at the Mengjia Theater, and experienced the colorful intangible cultural heritage craftsmanship at workshops, becoming enchanted by the vibrant vitality and profound historical and cultural heritage of the ancient city of Zhangqiu.

"This is a city surrounded by springs, and the spring water here, clear and green, has left a deep impression on me," exclaimed Onur, a journalist from Turkey's Güneş newspaper. "I look forward to coming to Jinan again to experience the spring water here up close."

This event aims to present the profound historical and cultural heritage of Jinan, showcase its vibrant practice of building a modern Spring City and an internationally leading humanistic metropolis, and provide support for the international dissemination of Jinan's urban image through unique perspectives and vivid storytelling from overseas media.
